Any idea how to earn money(extra income) from personal website like weblog?

My weblog (http://www.liewcf.com) just accepted by Google Adsense last few days. The click rate is low. Any suggestion to increase click rate?

How about sell ads space like blogads.com?

i am not sure whether blogads.com pays or not. You must make sure they are a reliable company before trying it.
I have tried few companies and they really doesn't pay, they r cheating i guess.

@lcf - minf if I ask how many visitors you got per day?
Google adsense really depends on number of visitors unless you have a content specific blogs like pvrblog.com

yup, i also think is depending on ur visitors per day(impression) and also depending on the value of the ads displaying that time.

Let's say there is a new ads(in google adsense) paying $1.00 per click and the keyword is found on your site.
So your site will get to display that ads and 10 person clicked u get $10.00.

but does fast click supports malaysian sites?
Previously i registered many affiliates network sites. They allow me to signup but when i select ads in from the list, they have to verify me first before allowing me. Mostly rejected me because they thought I am from Malaysia and i will have Malaysian visitors only.

So how do u solve this?

Most blogs don't earn much from adsense because most visitors are there to read about another person's view on certain stuff. They didn't go there for a particular reason, that's why the low click rate.

vcheewei: blogads is well known blog advertisement site. It has problem with my account registration, waiting it to solve.

alang: daily visitors is 1000+

foress: tried fastclick already. It does not accept malaysian OR I have been rejected. I don't remember.

@lcf - from the 1000+ visitors you should get at least 100 clicks per day, and with 100 clicks I believe you will receive a cheque from google every month.

From my experience, normally the number of clicks I received is about 10% from the visitors...and its enough to get a few bucks a day.

alang r u sure? i have 12k-15k per day but only 0.1% percent click thru.i earn less than expected.

my click rate is less than 1/10 of your 10%...

Any tips to increase click rate?

Perhaps my website is weblog, most ads are only about weblog...

lcf, blogads.com only allows ads to be display on webblog sites only?

wow..10% is really nice. If u got 10,000 impression per day, u got around 1000 clicks ? i think with 1000 clicks, u will earning over hundred per day.... . i only got 0.1 % to 0.2 fr 20 k per day impression .

Lcf , your site got 1000 + visitor or page impression . Normally if u got 1000 uniqe visitors, i'm sure u 'll got around 3 - 5 hundred per month or more... if your ads place nicely .

i think u should change the color of your google adsense to make it eye attracting.
