The Name on Google AdSense Cheque

Hi,

My AdSense account just over $100 for the first time!

I have a question here.

In the "Payee information", my name is in "Last Name Surname" format. (Fill in according to Google form)

But, my bank account name is in "Surname Last Name" format.

Will my bank accept the Google cheque with name in different order? Should I change the name in "Payee Information"?

I don't think you can change your name through your google adsense account. Maybe if you email their support, they can change it for you. BTW congratulations for your first cheque, I know the feelings...

mine's still stuck at USD 10 after 3 months :P

well, I've just revamped my website (it was staying put for 3 months before this), so I think once I add more content I should see an increase in revenue.

People will click if they find the ad is interesting, not your contents. Maybe there's a theme for your ad or something you can change the setting?

It took me two and half month to get $100 from Google.

Since the adsense is content based ads, the website content DOES affect the ads displayed.

Of coz, the ads placement position is VERY important. The best result (for me) is "Top" and "Under/In the Content"

BTW, Does my name format ("Last Name Surname") correct? Do I need to change it?

I don't want that I got the cheque but cannot bank in...

Don't worry about it LCF. You may negotiate with the bank. I have got a USD400 cheque received via American postage service (wow! - that's last year

), they wrote "Filuren Network - Albert" instead of "Filuren Network"

Either your cheque is written "LCF" or "FLC" or "CLF" or "CFL", just show the bank your I.C.

Wow!! US 100. I just started adsense for a month and only have US16. My site only gets 200-300 hits a day

How long is yours gilachess? You may as well show us your web site as well..
