Mine is around 0.5-3% Which sometimes i consider quite high.
How he do it? I would never pay for that e book

Google has give him the permission to publish his stat, but only earnings not cpm and ctr. Same like Mobiletracker.net (Jon dales).

20% ctr is possible provided your site has a lot of traffic, mine averaging 10% ctr. You need a lot of unique visitors. If you get 4000 unique visitors and half of it click your ads, you will get more than 100 bucks eventhough your cpm is low.

How to increase your earnings? Build more site that gets a lot of traffic. If one site give you $ 10 per day and you want your earning $100 per day, just build another 9 sites. Every site give you you $10 per day, if ten sites you will get $ 100 per day. Same like this guys did it.

Usually high ctr only valid for website promote something like website about car, baby or something like that. This is because visitors comes from search engine, let's say they are looking for baby stroller, they type "baby stroller", and your website appeared in 1-10 ranking. When they go to your website and finding nothing interesting and they saw your ads has something about "baby stroller", they will click it. That's how my site did it. My average unique visitors per day around 500 unique visitors, half of them will click. [edited - afraid of Google]

My ads setting, I'll put it below my content and use same color with my site theme, use Large rectangle.

* High ctr not very successful to achieve if your site is blog- I'm already tested, but it depends on your unique visitors, if you get a lot of visitors like Mobiletracker.net , maybe it's working.
* Also, high ctr not valid in forum, cause seldom posters click the ads.

Jawa doing very well now - 2800 CLICKS A DAY - sure aaa ... not typo aaa ... Congrats lah man.

Me - doing about 5% - 8% CTR.

Just something about adsense-gold though - I read from Barry (http://awebbiz.com) that the guys has a COMMUNITY site - it has been around for years now.

Good community sites are always high traffic - and they get repeat visitors.

Maybe I should build one too ... but in the meantime ... more content-sites.

I agree with Jawa ...

But in most cases ... with, let say, 10 sites ...

- 2 would be winners (makes 60-70% of your earning) ...
- 2 are damn flop (makes maybe 0-5% of your earning) ...
- 6 are average (makes 25-30% of your earning) ...

All together - you still get positive cash flow. Keep building ... Keep building ... Keep building ... (advice to myself)
