I'll agree with this ... you must at least go for the monthly payout. To do so, you need to reach $100 per month.

Suggestion ... if you can't bring in 100 uniques per day to your site(s), maybe you should focus on promoting it first rather than monetizing from it ...

Including me, waaaaa....

I never get USD 4,000 a month. But its all just a speculation. But there is a few cases of the low performing publisher being banned because of invalid clicks. No more warning, so for those who in this category, should be careful...and normally, these people are the one that tend to have fraud clicks on their account because they can't get a valid clicks from visitors. So google have a point here. For publishers that have nice earning, I'm sure that wont' do something stupid that will jeopardize their account.

Baby Steps

1 - Build site(s) and target for 100 uniques per day

2 - Apply for Google Adsense and target for $100 per month

3 - Target for $10 per day

4 - Target for $35 per day (approx $1,000 per month)

5 - Target for $100 per day (approx $3,000 per month)

6 - Target for $350 per day (approx $10,000 per month) - UPS Club

Do step by step lah ...

Hi guys. I'm new here

In my opinion to build 100 sites is managable and easy. Static pages like Kawan mentioned, put up some content, some affiliate links and of course adsense and you are good to go.

At the moment I'm earning $0.20 to $0.30 per site on everage. It's a numbers game. The more you build the more chances you get. Like Kidino said "throw-and-see-if-stick" websites.

I have built at least 50 sites but the problem I'm facing is traffic and indexing of the sites and getting links. Not to mention the competion. Some people I know buys links that has PR8 on them to accelerate their indexing.

Hi Kidino

Yep I must agree I need to build more quality sites . But how do you determine a quality site?

This is how I do it.
1. Create a layout webpage.
1. Create at least 10 pages of content.
2. If I'm stuck for content I go and get some at articlecity.com .
3. Put in my afiliate links and adsense.
4. Mention it on my blog and find some links.
5. Move on to the next project.

I still new at this this and still early days. IMO ranking, getting indexed and traffic are my concerns. But that is where I'm having problem. Any ideas?

sonny

How to Build Quality Mini-Content-Sites

I have to admit that I do have junk sites ... but I started doing that after started being lazy to build more quality sites. But it proves that my earlier sites are doing a whole lot better. Infact attributed to most of my income. Here's how you should do it ...

I research for good topics ... low competitions, high demand. I try to be thorough and compare demand and supply. I use Overture Search Term Suggestion and Google listing for that. Normally I go for keywords with more than 1000 searches per month. And then, I look at how many websites are listed for that in Google. I normally go with 500,000 and below. Best if you can best keywords with below 100,000 listed websits. I believe this is the most important step.

Then I started structure for content. Looking and the keyword, I expand it. Example ... if you found that "coffee mugs" is a good keyword, you may want to see how other related keywords are in terms of demand and supply. So you need to try out "travel coffee mug", "insulated coffee mug", "coffee flask", etc ...

Now, you should have a list of keywords. You should at least have 10 keywords. Something around 30 is good. And use that to structure your content. Write an article for each of those keyword. I used to buy books to learn more about a certain topic that I chose. The books were around RM80 each ... and proven to be a worthwhile investment. You can also read manufacturer's websites, review websites, merchant's website, etc ... Now, start writing content.

Here's a tip. After writing keyword articles, how about writing 2 or 3 how to guides which would definitely be useful for people. This does not have to be any of the keyword articles. Just something useful like - "how to choose an insulated coffee mug", "how to color coffee mugs as a gift", etc ... This will attract more people to link to you.

After you are done with your content, create a search engine friendly web layout. With that layout, use them through out your website. Put the articles into the web pages. Read up on some On-Site SEO. You know, things like using <title>, <meta>, <h1>, <h2>, bold, etc ... Create a navigation and link them all together. Upload to your web hosting and your site is done.

Next is just about link building. And they say you should have high PR sites linking to you. So go find that. Here's a tip - if you build your website right, and you have good how to articles, you can start with related websites listed in DMOZ.org.

And of course, there are other ways of getting incoming links ...

I guess this will be my method of creating a good site ... when I don't get lazy ... Sample URLs? Sorry, not ready to disclose any so don't ask.

Kidino

The "How-to" idea for content is a good idea. Mmmm...

Basically your method is the same like mine. Targeting keywords for content. Problem is traffic and ranking. Really respect our friend jawa with one of his website. No1 in yahoo! I hear he's using seoelite. It's one of my "to buy" list.

Maybe I should open a thread on getting indexed and ranking...

If you can earn >$1k/mo with one SBI site ... then maybe a worthwhile investment.

And there's also XSitePro now
