So you will stop when you get USD 100 a day? Heh, if you ask me now, my answer is, hell no....

My target now is to get USD 500 a day, and when I get that, my target will USD 1,000.00 a day. So far, I never heard people getting USD 2,000.00 a day, so I will stop at USD 1,000.00...

off course i won't stop at USD100 per day...
but i will stop put up new "mini site" when i reach USD100 perday.....

Then just concentrate on the long term site that can attract a lot of visitors.

with USD100 a day you can use to promote your main site , buy back links and do a lot of things to improve your main site.

I'm also doing the same like you. Targeting 100 website that makes $1 a day. I'm half way there. But have to get rid of the habit of checking my adsense stats every couple of minutes. I know people who are making 100 websites A DAY and they are making tons of money.

The trick is just build them and forget and go and build some more. Maybe people would say that I'm building junk websites, but to be honest we are all doing this for the money. As long as I am not doing or promoting things illegal, this "part-time" work for yankee money is a good income.

Hmm.

One big quality site or lots of mini site?

My style:

-lots of mini site at different hosting
- doing seo and get top ranking for targetted keyword that has more than 400 search per day
- earn a little bit in Adsense and affiliate commission
- target income - one mini site must give me at least USD 50.00 per month.
- when it reach at least USD 50.00 per month and my targetted keyword get No 1 in search engine like Yahoo and MSN, I'll will forget it. No need to update regularly.

Currently I had 7 websites that give me at least USD 50.00 per month consistently.

I had another 11 websites that still not matured yet in search engine. Still waiting..

Benefit of this mini site:
- no need to maintain regularly.
- suitable for lazy person like me , who hate writing new content or finding new content.
- If I cannot access internet more than one month, my mini site still give me some income because all traffic come from search engine.
- That's why I don't like blog cause traffic is not predictable. If you don't blog at least one week, your traffic will going down, and your adsense income will follow too.
- Not like static mini site, your traffic is constant and your keyword ranking will stay at the top of search engine longer than blog. I had a website that my targetted keyword is No 1 in Yahoo and MSN more than 7 month without me doing anything. No new update, no new content, I just leave it just like that.
- Easy to tweak or adjust your content so that you will get higher top paying keyword in Adsense publish in your site. No more USD 0.01 or USD 0.03 per click.
- If one site is down, you have another mini-mini site to cover your income.

So for me, mini site is suitable for me cause I can get income from Adsense and affiliate commission..

Initially I bought a template from from Robson Design as recommended by James Martell. Quite pricey for $USD50. But after that I designed my own based on the web template that I bought. It's a basic simple design but professional looking.

Dr Andy William's Seo Website Builder is also very good. Creates webpages and SEO. Very pricey = $USD147.

But if you want FREE (Dont we all? ) software. Then you can tryEasy Web Page Creator. It is almost the same as Dr Andy's but lacks in some functions. But the important thing is it's FREE. The only thing is pages created has a link to the EPWC website.

I find this thread is interesting.

Adsense is really changing a lot of people life. I see lot of internet marketers (some famous one), telling people how important and easy to build the affiliate income but they secretly build hundred of websites to earn more than $5000 per month.

With 100 websites plus "OK" internet marketing skill, I believe $5000 per month is the reasonable income as long as you layout the ads well. I admire Alang - with only 2-3 websites, he is acheiving that! By focusing only on Adsense, it is a huge risk. Adsense (or advertising) can be a good monetization model but shouldn't be the only one.

I think Kidino approach is workable and feasible for all the beginners. It is not easy to acheive what Alang is doing. He should have very good and balance skills in various area such as marketing, copywriting & etc.

To me, mini-site did quite well - both in Adsense and affiliate. I have few mini-sites and all of them have only 10 content pages. I capture the list and provide them the free 8-10 days e-Course. Then drive them back to my site to continue the e-Course. In this way, I have more opportunity to presell them the product and higher chances they will click the ads.

First, I need to tell that I'm not good at all in marketing and copywriting. I just use traditional method to get more revenue from adsense. More traffic = more money. So I just work on traffic. Thats why I just have a little success with affiliate program. But that does not mean that I depend on adsense alone. You would be surprise if I say that my earning from chitika is more than adsense and my earning from fastclick is half of what I earn from adsense. Beside that, I manage to sell few software from my site.

I learn a lot from kidino, jawa, nelayan (just name a few, sorry if I miss anyone) here, and I still have a lot to learn to be at their level. And I believe, my way is more achievable because you just have to focus on non-competitive niche and just work on link building and traffic

Agree with you that making money on the net is a statistical game. The more traffic you have, the higher chances for you to convert the traffic and make money.
