Got onto the Chitika bandwagon mid-October 05 and made some good "unaudited" earnings from my Nikon D200 blog.

Well, did a check yesterday and the audited revenue for October is a mere 50% of the unaudited one.

How's yours doing?

I don't use chitika at my sites.

But seemed that some people lost 90% of their earnings after audit. Horrible if you ask me.

We understand that after audits that the revenue change can be a bit alarming but the daily reports only summarize the data from the raw clicks logs. On a monthly basis we run our audited process to remove and discount clicks. For example, currently we do not have offers and promotions from merchants who are willing to accept and pay for clicks from regions other than US, Canada, Australia and Western Europe. So we don't get paid for clicks from Asia and other regions as well.

I'd already spent more than $1000 USD chitika revenue for October. Got it in my paypal account on Friday. My cut is about 50%, but I'm still happy with the revenue that I get from them because I put chitiika ads as alternative to adsense or on the "cool" area of my site (check the google heatmap)

Alang - congrats! That's a very good figure!

I have many visitors to my blog, but only about 1% CTR - optimising the placement of ads is one of the toughest challenges I face. Will keep on trying.

1% CTR is very high, my highest CTR is 0.05%
