This month is the first time I bank in my adsense check into Hong Leong bank.

I've been using my RHB Bank. So far no problem.

To my surprise, HLB charges only flat RM12 for any amount below RM5000.

Hmmm..not bad eh?

Quite reasonable.. BCB charged me RM 10 for any ammount of cheque .. anyway how much is the rate now for RHB?

mm... rhb charges 15.50 .. or something like that.. but i think no amount limitation

my only concern as usual is the time it takes... mine takes exactly 4 weeks .. or plus by another few days... gosh...

anyone have better experience with other banks?? can anyone share the time it takes from the day you bank in until the day the money arrives into your account?

recieving cheque is pretty fast though.. average 10 days... so we all dont have to opt for the fast delivery which cost extra USD24 and that takes 1 week... other countries takes 2 to 3 weeks to get their cheques.. so we should be thankful in this sense

I am happy with BCB ... but with foreign cheques, you can only deal with your home branch (the branch where you opened your account)

Sometimes I wonder why must they make money for clearing the cheques when they already made money with the foreign exchange?

You should be wondering why banks are raising the bar on BLR when they have lots of other services to charge. Even withdrawing money through our ATM cards need to pay money.

We invest money into banks but they give us penny in interest, but when we borrow money from them they'll charge us a bomb on interest.

I think online paid surfing might as well replace our bank deposit incomes.

how long is it from the time you bank in the adsense cheque until the money is really in your account?

so we can do comparison on the time taken ..

so far my first cheque is still being processed.. banked in on nov 15.. today dec 14 .. not in yet ... *worried*

from the last post you mentioned that you've been getting huge sum of adsense money since January 2005, so you should already knew of the time taken to process the checks. Besides, what do you mean "first cheque"? First time getting adsense check?

i just got my first cheque last month .. its a collective total of all adsense income since day 1 cause i dont think its worth banking in 50 or 100 bucks cheque.... so once its around thousand plus then i banked in.

but anyway its in today!!!

exactly 1 month! banked in on Nov 15, got it today Dec 15.

talk about long...

hehe thank god next cheque should be in by Jan 6 since I banked in this month Dec 6

wow...guess it must have been a long wait for you then..

But i think it's quite dangerous though, say suddenly Adsense team lost their mind and shut down your account and you'll lose everything..

in a way yes .. i couldnt sleep well from nov15 to dec14..

I think most local banks takes one mnth to complete the transaction. I used ambank, they charged only RM5.
