Hi guys, Happy new year!!

I'm just a newbie and I just joined Adsense on Dec 2005.

When I want my payment to be approved, I have to fill in the Tax Information form. I believed you don't have to do this if you apply adsense earlier is it?

I wanted to know which form should i fill in. They have this U.S. Activities thingy that I'm not very sure about, my hosting is from US so is it consider as US activities?

I will send an email and ask them, but I need your guys opinions.

It the American tax information. I believe you can ignore this part unless you reside in the US.
Best however, wait for Adsense to reply for final confirmation.

its good to know also how whether we need to declare income from overseas such as adsense and pts/ptc programme to our malaysia IRD.

there not much info i can't find on this IRB area.

Hmm...I'm not sure about this tax thingy either. As far as I know, however, Google Adsense is not strictly "salary", it is more like commission. And I don't think commission is taxable.

I can assure you guys that your Adsense income is taxable. I had a talk regarding incomes generated via the Internet with several IRD officers last year and they maintained that such incomes are taxable.

You don't have to receive a 'salary' to pay tax, as long as you earn a living via the Internet, it's considered as taxable income since you are living and working in Malaysia while you are making that money.

I declared my Internet income and paid my due.
