I'm using both, but making more with linkhaul than text-link-ads. Text-link-ads sell my links higher than linkhaul but due to lots of competition, only few links can be sell through them. And I'm with linkhaul since from the start and even though they lack some of features that text-link-ads have, what more important is they can sell my links. Both split the revenue 50/50.

Linkhaul looks really simple, easy to use and priced reasonably. I might give it a try.

That's odd. TLA sold all my links (8/8) within 45days.

I tried textlinkbrokers. Hopeless. Can't even sell 1 link.

Perhaps your site's niche better suit in TLA, what is your niche about?

My music site sell 0 links in TLA till date (I think got 1++ months already).

I went to DP, increased the price, and sold out in 2 days.

Hmm..so far I'm earning about USD10 per month from TLA and this month its USD 70 from Google Adsense

I do have a question, though. I have a forum (forum.bismikaallahuma.org) and as suggested by Google Adsense team, I placed my Google ads in the red hotspots where earnings is optimised the most. But I am earning a measly USD2 per month from the forum. Is there any other way to optimise placement?

How big/popular is your forum?

Forum normally do not convert really well. If your forum is large, I think CPM ads do better.

I think it will do better if you can do some hack on the PhpBB forum and integrate those adsense ads in it.

Few forum that did it particularly well are, digitalpoint and syndk8.net/forum .

Hey guys ! I am new here. I have something to ask. I registered google adsense. The second day I saw 17 clicks and the commissions is $5 and few days later i saw the number of clicks was like 80 and the commissions still the same. What is wrong with this?

How the google adsense giving commission for this? Not based on clicks?

How much you guys invest in the test-link-ads ? How to select a buy a good link ? Depends on the Alexa? and link popularity? What if we buy from them and they did not put the code inside their website?

Regarding the Publisher Program given by test-link-ads, how are we gonna earn the money from? when people register there or they purchase something there? or just advertise the code in our website and get paid monthly?

Sorry for asking so many things. =) I am really a newbie.

Google Adsense pay their publishers based on cost per click. For example, for a particular keyword (e.g, insurance), the cost per click can be few dollars; for another keyword, it can be only few cents.


Text-link-ads monitor their publisher very well (hence don't worry they don't put up your links after you bought it).

And to buy the links, they have a very well written link buying guide at their website.

When you registered for text-link-ads as publisher, you will be given the code which you need to put on your site. After they verified, your site will be put up on the marketplace along with other site. You will only earn $ if there are advertiser wish to buy links from your site.

sorry i just want know and still newbies. fyi i only using adsense for my website and earn around $20 buck a month

put links to other person websites on your site using only url and anchor text. Normally, you will see it under partner sites, sponsored sites etc. Reason why people buying text links because it will help page ranks and search engine ranking.
