This is getting a bit unnerving, I've been waiting for my PIN since April, now is already July. Requested new PIN twice, asked Google twice. All they do is ask me to wait wait and wait.

Have you guys got this experience before?

I know you need to diversify your online income, but there are still many people especially those full time 'bloggers' who make a living depending only on these pay per click programs. Aren't you guys afraid that someday you won't get your paycheck ?

Nobita, the pin should be arrived around 3 months time.

Depending solely under contextual advertising revenue is risky, especially now where there are almost no competition for Google Adsense ( not until YPN releases their programme from beta at the year end of 2006). Anyway, Google won't ban/disable your account unless you did something that violate their terms and conditions.

Apart from that, the riskier thing would be depending solely on one traffic source (for example, Google). If your traffic source is diversified (to different search engines and sites) and stable, then only worry about the revenue source.

Switching from one advertising program to another one can be done in an instant, but not for the traffic source. You can't get high ranking in another search engine overnight .

I agree with you, once you have traffic, switching advertisers is not a big problem, money will still roll in.

Yeah, but sadly currently other adsense alternative like adsor,adbrite,etc for Malaysian are not really viable, unless you willing to sacrifice your earning by few hundred percents.

I have heard a lot about the high payout rate (and high CTR) by YPN. Can't wait for it when it released from beta (hopefully) at the near end of this year.

I've finally received my Adsense PIN.

I have a question, now the payee's name is not the same as what is written in my IC and bank account. Example , instead of Chee Cheong Fun or Tau Sar Pau, the payee's name is now Cheong Fun Chee and Sar Pau Tau. So is this acceptable in our local banks or do I have to ask Google to change it?

After 4 Weeks....Since the pin was posted to me

BTW, which bank do you guys claims the google adsense? Is it have any age restriction claim the check money?

Just for info, if anyone here dont want to wait until 4+weeks for adsense pin, just pay about 23+ USD for DHL service, sure it will arrived within 1 week.

I just got a reply from adsense support said that they didn't offer PIN delivery by courier service, so which one is true ? there is an option for DHL service cater for the adsense cheque, not sure about PIN delivery.

Appreciate someone can clear this matter .
