I developed an e-commerce site for one of my client(a book publisher), after I clean-up the payment system(add maybank2u and credit card). Their sale went up and very happy about it. Then they ask me, is there any more ways to push the sales up.

And i've been thinking of offering affiliate to sell their product. I dont have problem coding it but im not a bussinessman. Is it worth giving some % to other ppl?

If you guys ever done it then please 'enlight me' with your wisdom!

10-20% eh.. figured as much. but will it push the overall sales? i've seen many guides on infos on joining an affiliate system but not making one.

Some product SOLELY depend on affiliate program to get their sales. Most of the e-books do, by giving more than 50% of the book price to their referrals.

All in all, it depend on the nature of the e-commerce product.
