My 'First Hand' experience with CJ
In this thread, I mentioned that I never use CJ (commission junction) before. A few hours I made that post, I went and sign up CJ.
The application takes 2 pages, around 1 minute. Painlessly fast. And guess what? Approve within minutes too. I received the email from CJ with my login and password. Once I logged in. I got pretty confused. I did not know what to do. After playing around, I finally got through it. The first step, is to select "Get Links" from the menu. You will then be shown a big list of categories. I'm doing this for my music blog. So I select "Music" as my categories. There are 28 affiliates for music categories alone. Because not all advertisers will accept you. So, it's wise to apply them all. Once you applied, wait a few moments. Chances are few advertisers already accept you (while others might decline you or pending for approval). So, to get a kick start, select "By Relationship" to see which advertisers have already accepted you. Well, 9 advertisers out of 28 accepted me. Not too bad. I'm going for any one of the affiliates first. I'm selecting "PlayPhone.com", and click "View Links" to see what this affiliates is about. Looks like this affiliate gives away free ringtone, with $5 per sales. Good. I'm doing this for the first one. I hate the banners. I'm selecting the "Text Links" from the many options of affiliate links. The code shows, I copy it, and paste it at my site. No hassle. Yeah. The ads looked great, I'm sure many people will click on it.hehe. I then checked my account hours later. And, WALAH!! So I got my first commission It really happened within hours and I'm impressed with the results so far. And it's not so hard right?Would love you all (who have already experience with CJ) share some feedback and comment as well as your experience. Thanks. |

Do I need to maintain all my sites that use their affiliate links? Or only 1 is enough?
