I have known about this "opportunity" more than a year ago. In fact I have .ws websites that are almost 2 yrs old.

In my recent trip to Penang, some factory operator friends tried to sell me the idea. For those who are thinking of joining this scheme, my advice to you is to forget it. This scheme has been going on a long time and by joining now, you are a very, very late-comer in the game.

In addition, the .ws ccTLDs have very low value in the domaining world because they have flopped in their marketing - they tried to sell .ws to mean "websites" when it is really Western Samoa.

P/S: btw, it's a cheap shot putting your affiliate link in the thread if you were honestly only asking for opinions.

I agree with you, the affiliate link makes the offer suspicious.

I have seen such scheme coming up when you type a wrong WS domain name. In example, I have an Active.ws - Free URL Redirection, Short URL, E-mail Forwarding really free redirection service, but sometimes I forgot about part of the name and the Global Domain promo comes up.

I have never tried because it never has been clear to me.

i think 1 year ago my cousin introduce me this program, the thing i interested is the web hosting, then i go to find out the detail, at the end, i found nothing, no specification on how much space for the hosting, what server side language the server support...
