HIRING a GHOST WRITER. How to?
After reading posts on the importance of a good and quality content, i want to go ahead and hire a writer for my future articles. I hope you guys with experience on this can contribute to this discussion.
Here are the questions: 1. Where do you go and find them? 2. How much is the for an article of say 300 words and 500 words? Please state the amount that you guys are paying. 3. How do you decribe what kind of article do you want? Give them the keyword and ask them to research and elaborate? 4. How long is the time frame or dateline that you give them to finish the articles? 5. What about reviews, editing and correction? How many times do you have to ask them to change? 6. Do you have to have an agreement signed? Saying that the article is legally ours? If yes please provide example. 7. How do you check if the article is not plagarized or copied? 8. And lastly how about payment? Paypal? Credit cards? I guess thats it for the time being. I have more questions to ask like keyword density and repetitions but i read somewhere that it is no longer important. We can discuss it along the way. Thanks in advance Learning ////////////// |

I have experienced on hiring several freelance writers.
I found most of them from Elance. I normally shortlist around 20 writers, send them an email informing about my needs, ask for samples. Those that answer my email within a day or two, and provide a good samples writing normally gets the job. I pay around $5 to $20 per article, which ranges from 300 - 1000 words. Although every writer would take any paying gigs that come along, they specializes in different field. For example, one writer may specialize in the pharmaceutical field, and another one may be good in writing webmaster articles. I normally require my writers to deliver within a week. In some urgent case, I can demand for 24-48 hours delivery but I would pay more in that case. |

Do you know whether those who end up writing for you are from Malaysia or elsewhere? Have you had experiences where the work is a copy and paste from the various places on the Net? Or are you generally satisfied that work is is legit and well done?
