Does this consider back link

While I doing link exchange with other blogger, some of them using this
linkme-up! :: linkme-up.com
or similar system
as the link exchange widget. I am curious does this consider back link?

Right click and view the source ... the anchor tag will have the attribute rel='external nofollow' or rel='nofollow' (these attributes are used by Wordpress and Blogger comments so that ppl don't artificially get higher ranking just by making lots of comments at other ppl's blogs)

Some sites that 'sell' text links also state that they will give a text link BUT with rel='nofollow' attribute. Probably because they're concerned that the outgoing links to sponsors/ads/affiliates might be punished by Google... as links(votes) should be given to sites that you think are useful.

Basically, if you use the nofollow attribute in a link, it means you're not actually 'voting' the linked site.

Both types of links are beneficial, to a different degree..... the standard link 'recommends' the linked site to humans and search engines.... the 'nofollow' link basically 'recommends' the site to humans only.

XFN? Yea, it's the thingy used for blogrolls and among friends. I think it has no effect to the search engines. So, yes, it's a real link.

as long it have recommended to SE and Human, and can help in ranking...

it seen like not fair for a person to use those 3rd party link exchange widget, and gain a lot back link from other and have high PR...

No choice ...PR may bring income, so i need to concern this too... should be alot blogger hate me when i take out their link when i found no real link from their blog.

anyway.. just pull out their link and tell them why.
but better email them asking to put the real link first..

I think.. 3 party links exchanges is crap.

agree with that...

the worse one i encountered... they search my existing link exchanges on the google search ( link:mydomain.com ) and then says that my link back will be from a site that i already exchanged link with.... what the F&^k ... they think i'm stupid....

i just do 1-1 link exchanges.... no more 3 way link exchanges....
