I got a rather new website (3mth old)... The funny thing is the index page is still PR 0 while some of the subpages been assigned PR3... usually the index page will have a higher pr count than the subpages but this time it was reversed????

Index Page PR 0 -->> Motivational Quotes, Inspirational Quotes, Motivating and Inspiring Quotes to get you Motivated and inspired daily
Sub Page PR 3 -->> Motivational Quotes, Inpirational Quotes, Motivating and Inspiring Quotes to get you Motivated and inspired daily

So my question, does this mean google are banning my index page from having PR???

I like the design of your website. it's very beautiful and appropriate for the topic you've chosen.

I'm adding a few comments and hope they're helpful for your site ...

1. I think 3 months is a short time if you've just been waiting for Googlebot to visit your site and done nothing else. Give it a bit more time!

2. How many backlinks do each of those pages get from inside your website? The inner page is more content-rich having a lot more outgoing links to other webpages of your site compared to your homepage. So, it's become sort of a main page by itself.

3. Your homepage needs more keyword-rich content written about the entire website including, but not limited to the inner one.

4. I don't see any difference between the title tag of your homepage and the other one. This is not good in the eyes of search engines as each page should be unique in its message.

5. I don't see any reason why you haven't mentioned all those links pointing to the various quotes at THE homepage of your website. The visitors should get to what they want as soon as possible.

6. It seems that your only subject is to introduce those quotes. So, why don't you focus on them on the main page by including them all like a directory?

7. You can give your visitors the possibility of choosing authors or categories as a search option on the homepage.

8. I think your keywords meta tag is very much populated. You can begin by targeting only 3 main keywords and get better search engine ranking. Then, you could add to it over the course of time.

9. I'm sure you'll find lots of other ideas yourself to improve your homepage's ranking.

ist more back link and traffic for your subpage?

last time I encounter before a website, no back link, but alot of traffic, around 200 to 300 per days, after index, the domain get PR2
