site not indexed
Hello One of my sites is simply not indexed by any search engines.
I have tried to submit the site to yahoo and got an error saying the site does not exist. I submitted the site to google (but it is still not indexed) The site was built using Joomla (which is my first time using joomla) The site is HTML and CSS valid and contains , doc type, key words ect I can not see what it can not be indexed at all?? any advice appreciated.

Hi not really the domain was registered and the site has been up for almost 3 months now. I have done subsequent websites which are already (organically) indexed with all search engine.

try to generate sitemap for your website, submit it to google webmaster tools, also submit it to yahoo site explorer

Try to submit your site into digg.com social bookmarking site. Definitely you will get your site indexed very soon.

Hi thanks for your suggestions above I have submitted google analytics tracking code on the site and the ayalytics is showing traffic but the site is STILL NOT indexed.....
HOw weird is that???

I THINK.. the site highly believe has been PENALIZED by google.
it might be redundant or 'to be declared as clone site' (yes i know, it's not) with the 1st site named : Karen Anderson Photography yess.. the dot com one.. WHY NOT he just made a subdomain for his australian specific one? like: karenandersonphotography.com/au or au.karenandersonphotography.com (+ the .au domain just be add on domain) then it should be far better what? ps:/ wordpress + nextgen gallery is the best photographer portfolio site  Last edited by mysticmind; 05-11-2008 at 01:00 PM.

I also have a site that I converted to WordPress, but Google refuses to index it (with the new WordPress permalinks)....and many months is still the same....no new reindexation. I have given up hope (after trying many things), and this is just typical of Google.
Yes, Google sucks, when they want to suck....I'm used to it. Sometimes it is just better to start on a new domain, and new site...if you can.

herm.. the other posibilities that i can think at this momment is..
regarding your server... If your server blacklisted or something. that also give you a damn too.

Google Sandbox
I guess this is the famous saying of google sandbox.
Your site has to go through the probation period before appearing at search engine result. How long will it takes? Nobody knows. At least I don't know.
