I agree with jawa, thats why I submitted my site to any directories that I'd found eventhough the directories are still new and no PR

BTW, the correct url for Mobile Phone Review website is http://www.mobilephone-review.com

Nicely said and done.

Just one point that i don't really understand:

Y change your anchor text when your targeted keyword has achieve your desired ranking?

Isn't it reasonable to maintain that anchor text? unless u wanna be doing targeted review juz on nokia (like the example above)?

lol Jawa, looks like i made a big mistake of being picky on choosing high PR to link exchange, silly me haha! Thanks for giving valuable information. As for doing link exchange with own sites, do you think we need to make it 3 groups A link to B, B link to C and C link to A?

Ok now i understand that A link to B but if B did not link back to A then will cause A to drop pagerank? So you mean if we want to cross linking all our own site then we need to link exchange with all instead of making 3 groups to achive one way backlink?

if you dont like a site, link to them using all blogs that u have,, Their PR will drop.
If the link back to you, you get PR, thats good to you..
You also can ask all your friends blog to link to the site to drop its PR..
man.. this is blog battle..!!
oh yes... can i use title tag?
e.g. <a href='mypage.blog.lah' title='target keyword'>mypage.com</a>

if you doing a lot, yes your PR will going down. If only one or two links, it's ok. Just make it like a ring. A>B>C>D>A.

but don't bother about PR. PR will not make your get top ranking...

As per lot of SEO experts' advise - do not concentrate most of your time on link exchange. I think the best way is getting link from trusted authoritative sites like, DMOZ, JOENT, & etc.

The other more naturally method and it is free - submitting articles to article directory.

PR is useless? No, it is still helpful and it just that Google did not update it regularly. Being a high PR is still very helpful, you can even sell text link at your site! I see market rate for one PR6 test link can go in average of US$80 per month or more.

Don't buy text link with higher PR site. Google will devalue this link. Any thing that manipulate your Google ranking will not doing good for your site. Is not easy to get listed in authoritative site like Dmoz. The best way is to get as many link as you can get with relevant "anchor text" pointing to your site. Just look at Brad Fallon site, myweddingfavors, his site get more than 10 keywords No 1 in Google and Yahoo. All these keywords are very competitive with keyword search more than 50000 per month.

Hello I'm new here. There's some questions I want to ask bout link building.

I go on and build a website with about 40 pages with rss and blog at the back end for continuos content. Then I go and find link relevant link partners as many as I can.

The question is how many? And say that I got like 2000 link partners that targets one main keyword, should I put all in my links page? That is only one keyword. Google and yahoo and msn wont get mad? will I get banned or something? do you do some kind of directory for your link pages?
