Can checkout Yahoo latest Beta where you can submit your site, authenticate it and will most likely be faster that DmoZ. I agree. Those editors are sleeping and although I applied 10 times to be an editor, I receive nothing.
Well, what limcs says about MSN and Google is true. The "age factor" in Google makes it such an outdated search engine, at least to my own thoughts. Imagine there is a new website with quality contents and has everything that what we are searching for.... BUT GOOGLE cannot find it??? Just because it is a new website, I guess it has to wait for many years before they are able to be "popular".
MSN meanwhile focus more on the domain name, Title, Keywords and Contents. I know many webmaster can manipulate this, but to me... at least it can give us what we want when we search. Not just seeing the same old website thoughout the years.
