Do these jobs guarantee high SE listings or is it to tweak a site to be SE friendly?

There are few claimed to be SEO company/expert in Malaysia. And they did send out few 'spam' mail to me.

Most of them use that hidden text/keyword spamming like that BMW case.

Unfortunately, I don't actively provide SEO services - only to those who come to me themselves. Because my time is pretty tied-up with my websites.

A good SEO job comprises both on-page and off-page SEO. It also involves applying a good strategy, e.g. going for a less competitve keyword - not just tweaking the meta tags

There are no guarantees in SEO - just look up the terms of top SEO firms. It's impossible because of external factors like search engine algo, e.g. Yahoo is known to give new websites a temporary listing boost before dropping them.

Of course there are SEO consultants who provide guarantees for keywords that nobody ever looks for. Always ask your consultant, why did he/she decide to target a particular keyword/phrase!

That defeats the purpose of SEO right, which is to let people find you themselves using search engines?

2. what will you do off my site? e.g. submitting to directories.
