Hi everyone,
Just wanted to share with you a website that can predict your page rank. Not sure how accurate it is but it's fun just to try it out. Google PageRank Prediction - Future Page Rank Tool at RustyBrick |
It's been around a long time and it isn't accurate anymore. I know because I used to run a popular pagerank prediction tool (hint: it's ranked top 3 for "future pagerank", "predict future pagerank" and "predict pagerank".
Anyway, Google found out and turned off access to information to their datacenters. Hence, sites like RustyBrick are now using their own prediction method instead of reading directly off Google servers.

Is there any other resource with more accurate prediction?

Based on the backlinks, indexed pages and quality contents of my site, I predict that I'll get a PR 4 on the next PR Update

I think it is easier for blog to get PR ranking from Google then a website. I started my blog last november and it shoot up to the no1 google ranking and a PR2 within a month.
For other websites, it took me about 3 months to get listed in the search engine and achieve any PR ranking As for the PR prediction, I am not sure how accurate it is. In fact, I don't know it is of any use to predict your PR. If you are doing the right things, the result will follow. The best way to get better PR is to 1) create useful and keyword focused content on your site 2) submit to directory 3) build more incoming links, especially from related sites with a higher PR Damien 1netstrategy.com internetstrategyblog.com |

agreed. my site once got pr6. but to maintain it to stay on 6 is really difficult and last update, my site drop to pr5. but next prediction, it will be back to 6.

I think someone that get pr after 1 or 2 months of blogging are because they updated their blog recently before google update the google pr! do you think so?
yes... you only get the pr when google update thier databases. you won't get pr increase on a adhoc basis... anyway its pretty much depends on the quality of contents... its still a tightly guarded secrets on how pr are counted...
PR is dependent on the quality of incoming links to your site. It does not directly measure the quality of your content. It is based on the logic that if a lot of quality related sites linked to you, then your site has to be a good one.
Saw in this article "Pagerank Explained. Google's PageRank and how to make the most of it." how PR is being calculated. This is the original version. Google might have updated its algorithm, but the core should be the same Need SEO solutions? Need SEO tips? |
