The reason? Maybe bcos most Malaysians still use Yahoo?

There could be several reasons, including:
1. The site ranks high on Yahoo but not so high on Google for the site keywords.
2. The keywords are targetted at the "general public". Yahoo has a definite advantage here because many computer suppliers tend to place Yahoo as the home page when they deliver a new computer.
3. The language of the website seems to matter. If the website is in English, there seem to be more Google users.
I have a website in BM where 65% of search engine visitors are from Yahoo and about 30% are from Google. MSN and the rest account for the remaining 5%. The major keywords are ranked on the first page on both Yahoo and Google, with the 2 highest traffic keywords ranked first on both. This is from 68,570 visitors from search engines over the last 2 years.
I also have a website in English where basically the same keywords are ranked on the first page of Yahoo, MSN and Google, some with better ranking on Yahoo than MSN or Google, but I am getting 48% from Google, 30% from Yahoo, 20% from MSN and 2% from the rest.
