Need some basic advise; I have hosted my website a few days ago. I wonder, why until today if I type "zarrico" there is nothing linked to my URL. Is it true, we need some reasonable number of hits before the searching works?

its already indexed in google... if you search under the term "zarrico" or "dewan eja pro" or "gedung eptj" its was listed on the first page itself.

however in yahoo... it indexed the terms to the post that i made here...i guess this forum is highly indexed by yahoo. I guess we still need to wait for a while for yahoo spider go to the actual site.

Sometimes, it also depends on the domain name... i have used one free hosting domain name before. Somehow, google have never index me. But if this is not the case, maybe you should try to wait for a while fisrt. I face this kind of issue before, but now, i'm all up to the top keyword search.

i've already done that for the domain and even submitted the sitemap... i always do that for my customer... and its indexed by google now ..

submit sitemap, i dono the way to create it...

by the way, you can submit your domain name to those free directary,
this is quite nice, alot are free Add URL.nu : Add your URL to free SEO friendly directories

i quit using those free online url submittion since last year as the result wasn't that promising...sometime it will get your url banner if you do it too frequently...

its better to submit manually to those free directory. Just google the term "web directory" and go through the top 30 pages .

on the google site map... i use Gsitecrawler to auto generate the sitemap.xml. and just submit the sitemap to google sitemap..

google sitemap --> https://www.google.com/accounts/Serv...en&nui=1&hl=en

you may also submit your feed to yahoo! site explorer too --> Yahoo! Site Explorer

anyway most spiders can read your sitemaps from the robots.txt files too.. just add the below line to your robots.txt

Sitemap: http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml.gz

Actually if you are doing seo(bring free traffic from search engine), you don't need to be top ranking for your website/company name unless there are many visitors searching for your company name.

What is the purpose of your website?

Your questions show you have an objective oriented minded. The web site targeted for government procurement department. Proving info as well as price list, initially on ICT products; consumable and toner etc. Of course the final objective is to make sale.

Someone says, the good web should be able to communicate, and stay in-touch with your customers. It is an interaction tools between you and your customers. Able to create attention, build the interest, accumulate the desire and finally motive action to buy from us.

please visit my website Zarrico Gedung-ePTJ, Dewan Eja Pro and Encryption Technology Providers in Malaysia. FIY, this web is about 2 weeks old.

Here are my thought:

In your frontpage, just tell what your visitors want, let's say we sell cheap bla bla for government.

-put online contact form if they interested in your product
- get rid of your company profile, put somewhere else. Visitors do not want to read your company history, they want to know what are you provide to them. eg. cheap toner
- create product directory with pictures and description but do not put price yet, tell them is below market price, but if they want to know make them register with your site, so you can get their email, contact info and so on. After they have submitted their registration, you can give your price list or you can send your salesman to their office to tell them more. Relationship is important.
