it is depend on different people, some like to read, some like to look, and some both.
for my self, 80%look, and 20% read only... mostly i did not read the blog which have a lot of wording. i prefer picture..(picture worth thousand word) once i saw interesting picture, then only i read the content... (no offense, just my 2cent, i did not really read much on your blog)
