hi,

there are 2 possibilities to increase traffic via blog.

1) use blog to attract robot. this method is faster than submission.

2) if your blog is up in SE, human may click through the link and go to your site also.

Just Blog....

after some time, the traffic will come. It will help if you have some plan for your blogging.

Blogging help with the search engine in the sense that you frequently provide your blog with fresh content. The search engine love this. And dont forget to link your main site to your blog. The blog will bring some positive effect to your main site if done correctly.

It's better to narrow your topic to a specific niche topic. (Not a must)
