FEED is a syndication in which is used to deliver content from you blog/website
There are 2 common types of FEED which is RSS and ATOM both serve the same purpose the content which is delivered by these FEED is read using a feed reader aka feed aggregator. Meaning that a person could see what is the new posting in your blog without going into your blog Feed is useful for those who has a few/many favourite blogs which they read regularly. They simply need to save each of the feed and see if there is any new posting from the favourite list whenever the person log on without visiting each of the blog
