For me, FrontPage still the easiest for HTML.
But lets try namo web editor.

For better result, it is recommended if u use multiple HTML editor bcoz each program has it own speciality.

dreamweaver, just for the heck that i love to design web pages with tables...

for the ASP part... dreaweaver seems to work for me... but i avoid those auto-generate codes... they really messes things up... also avoid the wysiwyg editor. it's bound to put heck lots of rubbish in your codes....

for the debugging... dunno why, but i like SrcEdit...

Tell you what, there's no need to think what's the best software for website buider but how do you plan to build it. If you plan correctly then any software you use will bring the best result.

In my case, I'd rather use UltraEdit alone for web editor and PHPedit for PHP web editor with photoshop and fireworks as graphic editor. And not forgetting flash. Then you can view it with I.E.

My friend use only frontpage and photoshop for his in-the-yahoo-rank-web. You can view it at www.komikjepun.cjb.net. For me this is a magnificient html-web.

Remember one thing! Don't use multiple editors. Here is a web that you can view in the moment (it doesn't arrange well because me & the other two top members use multiple editors).

i like to use dreamweaver, and i agree dreamweaver put rubbish codes....
I use dreamweaver's code editor to clean up thos rubbish :P

when i was first time working on my sites, Pixie guna notepad je, pastu Pixie guna AceHTML Editor. yg bagusnya benda alah ni semua dia boleh editkan, php, perl, css dan memacam lagi lah. benda ni freeware je boleh download kat download.com. kalau nak update website Pixie rasa benda nih memang best ^^

layout & graphics plak Pixie guna PSP6, PSP8, PS5.5, GIF Construction Set Professional & memacam lagi la. I don't usually stick with one program.

Apa2 hal pon Pixie beginner lagi, banyak lagi yg perlu belajar, baru 3/4 bulan je web designing nih.
