What did you use when designing a website..

not graphic..

from what i know most people use photoshop to desgn graphic but to designw eb uese what..

I use both of dreamweaver and namo web... using Namo web is easier to edit frames and tables... and dreamweaver to edit flashes and scripts...

i don't like frontpage (even 2002 version!)
bekoz i've dreamweaver ...

i use dreamweaver 4 and fireworks (gosh .. its still graphic ..) and i use html-kit to clean up the code that i think not needed ...

Frontpage is easy to use with its user friendly interface.
Dreamweaver is more like for proffessional...

But eventhough there are many html editors in the market today...if you knew html very well there will be no problem if you wanted to use whatever editor you like.

i think most of the web creator use dreamweaver (hehe my opinion only!).

and i think also microsoft create the frontpage for the home user ... and macromedia create for both home and work .. err ..

but i agree with napy .. if you html pretty good .. it's not the problem by what web editor you use ... bekoz you can make it with notepad ...

but i'm not reach the level yet. still confused with <table*><tr*><td*> ... will work on it .. but i think i'll stick to dreamweaver ...

ahhh! i can't create website without dreamweaver ...

or u know out there got some webpage that like when enter it open up javascript... small window withour scolling bar .. .. frontpage can do or not?

and how we want to know the browser size and the image.. how we want to control it..

i hope you understand.. to what ive trying to say

its chromeless window and its DHTML - NOT SUPPORT BY NETSCAPE! (netscape will open it as normal window)

and please dont ask it on graphic section.

To design a website, normally I will do the layout/design in Photoshop first.... after that I will crop out all the necessary images (that i need).

Then, I will start to code manually in Ultraedit. Ultraedit is a notepad like editor but with more features, much of them are for programmers, coders, developers, ...

Sometimes I use Dreamweaver too when I have to do some VERY COMPLEX tables...

Tips: Avoid using WYSIWYG editors as far as possible, because they put rubbish inside your code

Just my 2 cents.

you already answered your own question moveX. javascript does the opening of the window, not the html editor. the syntax is
