Google Webmaster Tool is like a must for websites/blog. It won't help you get index faster, but it helps you learn more about your site. For instance, how frequent robots crawl your site, dead links, google indexed links, highest search keywords/phrases.
In another words, it tells you how 'Google sees your website'

haha, i just try to search my full domain name David World : Feeling, experience, photo sharing using google. I can found it
that mean google search engine start to indexing my new domain....

Important part of Google Webmaster Tools is "Google XML SiteMap" .. now my site got indexed as fast as 40 mins in googles index. My Site publish updated google sitemap everytime i post new topic .. and it push notify google services to include the new post in the search engine index. Plus it updates my sitewide links or permanent links if i change them.. so thats is very very important.. thats why google tools rocks.. because they comes with quality and functionality.
