Unable to position the button

Here is my code

<form method="post" action="">
Login ID : <input type = "text" name ="loginid" size = 15 maxlength = 20>
Password :<input type = "password" name = "passowrd" size = 15>
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Enter" align="middle"> </form>

Why doesn't the button go the middle? It stays on the left even though I tried to change it to middle or right.

Somebody please help me!!

Hello Marukochan, welcome to the forum

Try "center" instead of "middle", or <center></center> or <div style="text-align:center">, or <div align=center>.

Actually I only wanted to have the submit button to be in the middle. Anyway, having everything in the middle also is not too bad. So, I stick to that. And, oh ya! typo error for password. TQ.

To mysticmind, sorry to disappoint you. I'm no longer a chibi (chibi=kodomo=kid). But I have five small lenglui though!!

I changed the code into this and it worked

<form method="post" action="">
<p align=center>Login ID : <input type = "text" name ="loginid" size = 15 maxlength = 20>
Password :<input type = "password" name = "passowrd" size = 15>
<input type="submit" name="Submit" value="Enter" align="center"> </form>

i add the <p align="center"> before the login ID code.
