Anybody using Joomla?

I wanted to start using Joomla to develop my website but I need help to install it. At the pre-installation page under required setting check my "Session path save" is "unwriteable". How do I make it "writeable"?

chmod to 777 , using ftp software or thru cpanel also can.

777 is dangerous

I normally just use Filezilla, connect to the site, right click on the file/directory, select file attribute, and check all options to make it 777. As mysticmind mentioned it, you can use the File Manager of CPanel to enable it too.

Setting permissions to 777 means you are making your file/directory readable, writeable and executable.

aku install jomla dalam site aku ade yang best .. tapi yang tak best rupanya joomla punya keburukan dia tak SEO friendly.. ampeh penat je aku edit sana sini..

ada extension utk buat dia friendly. kalau rajin klik la site aku niha

normally it's need to write a config file..
after finish instalation u can chmod it back to 755 .

abangsampan. Joomla ada SEO frienly URL . Check dalam admin cp dia.. ada option SEO url. Cuma dia tidak sepbaik Wordpress yang boleh ubah /nama-tajuk-jadi-nama-file/ dia cuma jadik /topik,13/blabla..

Cuma theme dia amat memeningkan untuk diubah suai. Susah nak customized.

aku dah test dah siap dah patch seo friendly tu.. tapi disebabkan cybermedik tu subdomain rasanya so semua site yang dalam mysql nye database akan menunjuk site ini tiada kat sini..

nanti aku test install kat root bukan subdomain.. nantila tapi memalam ke..

ini terjadi selepas saya install beberapa compenent & module baru..

error 404 file not found..

SEF dah enable..
edit .httacces sudah..

problem still sama..
