Avast is easy to use, lightweight, flexible and absolutely much better than Norton!

norton is not bad, has to see what version you use...
normally we use those home user are consuming alot of memory,

may be you all can try cooperate edition, i am using it since my company have the software...so far no problem...did slow down my PC at all...


other then this, panda antivirus also not bad, my ex-company are using it, strong agains virus...

people recomend me karpasky and bitfender, so far i did not test before...

in addition, i support AVG too, i normally use it as my 2nd backup antivirus, i install once any of the PC in my company infected virus. just for double protection

There are so many virus these days, you will surprised when you send your PC for a check up with an expert technician. Antivirus only stop some but not all.

I had Norton and some other spyware busters, yet my PC soon got so many spyware even though I never visit the "dangerous" sites. I didnt know until send the pc for repair...

Virus is only one kind...got many others like malware, grayware, trojans, spyware..adware...hijackers...also a lot of programs come with "legal" virus...which we dont notice, but it is written in the license agreement.

Have u here about software call Portable Antivirus that design to remove many dangerous virus from your computer instantly in just one touch of button. Portable Antivirus have plenty of great feature to protect beginner users from being infected by unknown malware...

i think it's cool...

Those who do not like it, why? I prefer Norton, unless no subscription, I would download AVG.
