Strange Liquid Design display errors
Hello all,
I have recently completed a website for Foong & Partners using liquid designs and on my desktop PC + test notebook, it looks perfectly fine and stuff like that. I have even optimized for Internet Explorer 7 & 6 plus Mozilla Firefox. However, the client called up and told me that there were a few errors. Among them in the list (not necessarily in that order) :- 1. Display runs when used with any settings higher than 1024 x 768 2. The 4 picture buttons in Home.htm occasionally display in a vertical format depending on a particular notebook, PC etc. 3. The width and height do not correspond correctly. Again this is based on a particular notebook or PC used. 4. One of them used a Lenovo T60 notebook with a 14.1 inch monitor. All settings are preset to default without any third-party browser add-ons, but still there is error in Home.htm. I hope what I explain is at least understandable to you all :P But I really, really do not know what else is wrong with the settings and how to tame the wild pages from running amok in their display. Thanks for the feedback(s). P.S: Is there such a hack that calls the browser to select a different .css file based on the monitor resolution settings? ![]() |

css is all about calculation.
1 thing for a good practice for now, dun involve any % usage. Do it on px first if is still new to css, combining % and px together as a beginner really wil be a nightmare ![]() there is/are hack(s) for IE and FF, but not encourage to use. However, if u wan some attributes to only appear in IE no in FF, add a # infront of that attributes
