donno what you wanted to do there... but for unique id, just use a running number lah...

i think she was asking things like c coding or c++ coding which its function like calculate the input n convert to other type of "Unique Value / ID" or the system will change number to a alphabet, then alphabet become another type of code..i did that before when schooling..but couldn't remember the way of writing.. the system somehow look like some website doesn nid u to type ur own password when u register, jz fill in ur details..a password will be given directly by sending it to ur email.

the problem is. she never ever mention what language... ie - asp, php, msaccess, mssqll bla bla..

do i need to teach her "How to make a good question?".

ic = primary key = unique
nama = unique too..

if i not mistake, unique can be use many time in db.. ie , unique IC (no duplicate), unique email (no duplicate) and so go on..

No lah...What he/she asked was how to make the url contains "?%" etc. Perhaps this is the point eh?
