Quick question from an absolute noob.

How do I upload the html codes to the public html, I just starting to build the site and it doesnt seem to work, just need to know how to get around this. Do I need a folder that is linked somewhere?

Please help!!

if the server is 3rd party one... u need to download n install a ftp client software to connect to your server....

if you host it your own... just copy into the root folder....

use ftp client (ie filezilla) connect to ur server, put ur html file under www/, name it index.html

Hi,

You can try using the various FTP programs (filezilla) for one. If you are using cPanel or directadmin, both have web based file uploading feature. If you are only uploading a few files and do not want to go through the trouble of getting a FTP software, you can just use the built in file manager.

Would anyone be kind enough to help me over IMs like MSN or Skype, now that I have more than 1 question, just thought it'd be cool to get some advises from the pros.

lol... open your cpanel
find publichtml
find upload button
replace file index.html to your new one.. ta da.. done..
