H1 Tag

Whenever i use heading tag ie h1 tag around a sentence the next immediate text goes to next line automatically. as under:-

My Heading
other text appears here when h1 tag is used for above heading

While I want it like this

My Heading other text desired to appears here.

Can any one advice how to achieve it.

so dont use heading.. use font size..

yup.. use font size.

it's HEAD separated level from our body right? hehe
head is always on top.. :P

if u really want it to be in <h1>, can use <span> within <h1> and u change the <span>'s font size, however is not encourage as <h1> suppose to be all big big big BIG

Turtle can move it in or out at will, thats what I am looking at.

Hm, can you please explain it a bit.I am not reffering to the sized of heading font.

The Heading and the rest of the text here.

Compared with

The Heading
the rest of the text here.

I want to achieve as in first case but have not been able to manage.

If you thinking of getting better SEO with H1.
It's a bad idea if too many H1 in a single page...and maybe considered as a spam page/site by Search engine?

anyway.. to make it work.. maybe you can set a margin for:
1 - H1
2 - p
(including minus margin ie: -10px)

that's only what i think can be done.

ya... but the head will still be the head on its own.. the eye or mouth still cannot be located at the buntut (aka butt) wat...

use a table to seperate the two

haha..don understand what he wants actually. from his example..it's look like just simply <b>heading</b> is enough..lol
