Hey,

A lot of people got a lot of different price to offer. But since you're freelancing, maybe you could charge them by page. Say RM50 for a page. If 20 pages multiply by RM50 you get RM1000. If they think it's too high then try and lower it down to RM30 a page.

Just my two cents..

Cheers!

Hello,

Minimum charges is RM 2500.
You should value your time

Try to estimate how much your time worth per hour ... and multiply it with estimate job completion. Then you get your income.

But ... make sure you put best effort in the time that you are charging people.

Thank you,

A site with static pages? I assume you're talking about a "brochure" site. Shouldn't be more than RM1500. Also depends on the quality of your work and what other extras you provide (SEO, copywriting/editing, XHTML/CSS compliant etc etc).

How much would YOU pay?

If I'm the biz owner, I'll not just want a site that looks good ... I want a site that SELLS! (top notch copywriting, top notch headlines, usability, accessibility etc etc)..... GRAPHICS DON'T SELL, WORDS DO! (that's y the best copywriters earn a bundle)

But fortunately I'm not your client hahaha. Anyway, you should find out abt your client's expectations.

normally ppl create website base on what client need. If the static content and just for personnel use, i suggest below RM500 only..
But if the client is a company, especially on e-commerce website then you can start to charge them more..don't know.. maybe 1-3K...

I always charged my client depends on their budget. I even charged a client only RM300 for a simple flash site design (4 hours work). But now I'm only accepting RM1.5k and above only.

RM1k- RM2k should be ok for 5-20 simple flash website.

Never go higher than that unless u hv very strong portfolio.. If not ur client will run away...
