Color images in wap?
I am wondering - i'm supposed to port my current web application to make it accesible under a wap phone, so i need to ask - can wap support colored images?
as far as i know, wap only supports WBMP, which is a 2-bit bitmap (black + white). Anybody knows of a colored wbmp? and how many phones support it? any issues should i look out for when porting my web app over?

i think this would help alot;
http://www.w3schools.com/wap/wap_intro.asp wap-site is not like web-site. recommended not too much image in a page, and not large btw, as small as phone screen display. WML languange not hard as we think btw ![]() WBMP is not 2 color kot? i think WBMP is = Windows BitMap = 256 color and above?. |

I've heard that u can impliment .png images in wap. Like so:
<img src="images/your_image_here.png" alt="Color Image"> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- But my question is... How does google's wap site work (www.google.com) Because their logo(name) is Color. |
