How do you choose font for your design?
Hi,
There are so many different font types. How do you choosing among them for your graphic design? Everytime I need to look thru one-by-one to list the suitable fonts then choose one from the selected fonts... my eyes become like  Any active web designer forum? Prefer local forum.

i normally....
do the same thing.. i have over 2000 fonts... but once u've played around with your graphix software...u'll get the hang of it... by the way i just started a design forum www.designersbay.com it's still very new..about 4 days old... but maybe u could join..and post your question there Thanx

@lcf: it depends on your ideas you have in mind.
Normally for Web Designs, many are choosing Tahoma and Verdana today For press printing, I love to use Myraid, Trebuchet MS, Franklin Gothic families, Helvetica families, Bell MT families (just like the magazines designs )My point of view. Mind to tell us what are you working on?

I'd go with graphic advertisement. It catch attention more easily instead of boring text just like airasia web page. Maybe you can try something like this?

well.. as for me.. depends.. because usually i'll stuck using the same font until i feel like vomiting if i see the same font again.. lol
 but i always use the same font for 2-3 months before i get sick of it
