hi guys, i wanna ask u all how to make a website? wat software i should use? frontpage? and wat web hosting is more reliable? coz last time my friends get lousy 1 always server down..

you can use frontpage to create a web pages, or even use Ms Word and save as HTML file.

However, I recommend you to study first about HTML, the basic language of web page.

You don't need to get a paid hosting so fast, familiar yourselves with HTML and know how to create a web page first. You can test your web pages by using free web hosting.

This is what I did...

1. Find a few web templates and choose a nice one...

2. Open up Frontpage and edit the template. I use
Frontpage because of its WYSIWYG feature, and
it's easy to edit... Some other people use Dreamweaver.

3. Then, only after that I upload my webpages to the
server.

As for which webhosting to use, it depends on what
you want to do with your website. Think of the
features that you want to use, like MySQL or anything
like that. Then, look at your budget too.

I've never used local webhosting services so I don't
have any comments on them. As for a few that I use
(Host4Profit, Kiosk, DayanaHost - hosted abroad),
I don't have any problems with their services. Their
response to my questions are fast too.

So, what is your budget?
What do you want to put on your website?

Probably that will start you to brainstorm a bit...

Lcf is right too... if you don't have any experience
with any webhosting do-this and do-that, get the
free hosting to try out first.

actually i got a bachelor degree in com science but last time didnt study properly.. i learn b4 but almost forgot all coz i graduted 2 years already but i didnt work in IT lines..
actually now i wanna do a hp website.. my boss give me 2 weeks to finish it.. so i hope ur guys can give me suggestions which web hosting is the best.. my budget is about 100++ ringgit malaysia per year..

you can try to google for website template, but hardly find free web template...

the best way is... find a freelancer to complete ur site..
in 2 week? it's really hard and though.
if u already expert in it. it is not a problem.. but to study again and again..
i'm sure u cannot complete the site nicely!..

i have a friend those host for budget under RM 100.

and if u wanna me to build up ur site too.. i can make it at a low cost..
but just the simple2 lah.. ! susah2 punya buat sendiri
