I want to develop a web-based application. basically, it is for the user to record information and based on the information recorded, a sms will be sent to the mobile phone of the targeted person. The concept basically same like sms.ac (can send sms through a website).

The problem here is i don't know where to start. i do some research and as far as i understand, i must buy the sms gateway. i'm not sure about the GSM modem.

anyone have clue? what tools i need to use? can i use mySQL, Apache web server, dreamweaver and xml as the development tools? how to use sms gateway, integrate with the website?
