I'm looking a search engine for local search (search contents in my web site only). This is my first experience to do this. I am using jsp. Anybody know where to start and which search engine to use.

as far as i know google adsense does provide a search box where u can paste it into ur site and visitor can search the content of the web or within your site and u earn $$ by that too.

away from that google does released their search box API @ Google AJAX Search API - Sign Up

You can use google's "Custom Search Engine" within your site.

The easiest is by putting Google Adsense for Search on your site and you can even earn money from it.

The Google Custom Search Engine is still in Beta .. but worth a try.
