.com.my gov. controlled?

may i know have any idea of using .com.my domain for website about the content issue?

i plan to host a forum using .com.my but i m worried abt the content which may against our local law.

can anybody comment on it?

but i think there are still some .my website content of copyright or illegal content. why those site still can operating?

because they were just lucky.. perhaps..

and you know.. local IT law not really straight yet..
but that doesn't mean they safe all the time..
someday willl come.

the more tight controlled of the .my domain, the more lower of malaysia internet technology improve.

I don't think you should worry about forum content on a .com.my domain, there isn't anything that the government can do about it anyway. Besides, there is the MSC Bill of Guarantees which guarantess no censorship of the internet.

yes, if too many law, how can we improve?

there are still alot company register .com instead of .my... may be is regarding law issue

hhaa..sure not allow lo... jz checking the .my domain availablility from mynic, the name related with sexual is not allow to register.

if allow to register, sex.com.my will be a worth domain and i think everybody will hurry to grab it.
