download PHP Documentation from http://www.php.net , then READ it and PRACTICE it.

There is NO shortcut.

Jadikan pc anda webserver yang understand php Code iaitu localhost.
Firstly download EasyPhp : www.easyphp.org (recommended)

lepas tuh setup dan boleh la memulakan pembelajaran Php hanya di pc anda

what is easyphp actually?

I set up Apache , PHP and MySQL to test/learn PHP.

EasyPhp is a software that inside included PHP, MYSQL, PHPmyAdmin, Apache webserver.

you no need to install part by part/manually of above subject.
while you setup it manually, example : setup the mysql, the setup the mysql , setup php.ini and then bla bla. ( rasa lecehlah ).

So.. for newbie and easy to start coding.
just install easyphp as a solution to escape pening kepala nak buat manual install
the another is phptriad and many more.
is it clear?

Don't do 'blind' downloads. You need to understand what are you doing and why are you doing so.

Step-by-Step, man.

ALWAYS read the help files/documentation~ I know this is boring, but it is the BEST way to learn!

The first thing u need to do is READ and UNDERSTAND php documentation. Have you downloaded it? Then, you can start to play around PHP script. Write some simple scripts first.

Of coz, you need a platform to test PHP. Since EasyPHP is recommended by mysticmind, just go ahead with it.
