i)how should we know whether the php is up or not???
because after the installation and configuration of apache,mysql and php, i open my IE and typing this address localhost/phpinfo.php but nuthin appear. of course le i dah create this file.

actually i not really understand ur problem...

1. how come u create phpinfo.php file..?? it already in the folder
2. if u using window OS, have u turn off the iis server?
3. if u have done that, try to turn on the apache server
4. r u using phptriad or u installed it one by one? cause if u using phptriad it should be no problem...

that all... try check it one by one

i) aku dah install sume php,mysql n apache on window platform.
untuk mengetahui sama ada aku nyer php tu up ke takk, jd aku create kat notepad and save as "phpinfo.php".dah siap save, aku bukak le IE n taip localhost/phpinfo.php. tp tak kuar ape2 pon.
aku dah terpikir pasal IIS tue, tp aku dah turn off dah sebelum aku up kan apache aku...tp still tak leh...macam mane sebenornyer.

Actually, it doesn't make a difference. The code only has one line. It will still work with or without the ;

Try just http://localhost/ do you get an Apache test page? if not, try:
http://127.0.0.1/
or
http://127.0.0.1:8080/

If you do (or when you do) get a test page and your phpinfo still doesn't work, then PHP wasn't configured correctly.

ii) bile aku taip http://localhost/phpinfo.php there is nuthin sedang kan aku dah buat code yg korang tulih tueeee

Are you using PHP cgi module or the ISAPI one?

Try attaching your httpd.conf

kemungkinan phpinfo.php x kuar sbb installation php x betul..cube buat semula... harap dpt membantu

No, what you're saying is correct, when you type http://localhost, you get an Apache Test Page (like said above), not the phpinfo page.

keh keh mesti kuar index kalau http://localhost mane leh kuar info kecuali ko tukaq kat index tu add phpinfo() hek hek!! lotak je la index.php tu remove je yg lelain buat nyemak.. kekeke
