semekom.. salam sejahtera..

aku adalah beginner tahap dewa dalam bidang nih.. tgh bingung nih! panas ada..stress ada..pening ada..rasa nak nangis pun ada.. i dedicated this question to all the developer yg pakar/dah pandai guna php&MySQL..

aku tgh praktikal, supervisor aku suruh berkenalan ngan menatang nih.. segala Apache la.. MySql la.. PHP4 la.. CMS la..etc tanpa bantuan dia, aku terpaksa guna internet yg ada untuk study sendiri..

so, gini..aku dah install Apache..settle dah! php4 pun dah connect dah..settle.. mySql pun dah install..settle.. sekarang aku dah masuk part nak install CMS. aku guna PHPNuke. then according to the step tutorial yg aku ada print, ada part dia suruh aku install phpMyAdmin..! so, aku pun download lah menatang tuh..then dah ikut step camana nak letak, aku sangkut kat bahagian edit file config.inc.php..! ada sesapa boleh tolong..? kalau sangkut sini aku takleh mencuba CMS yg ada.. please.. dah give up dah.. supervisor aku kata kalau dia ajar, apa yg aku belajar?! wa....kejam! mintak tolong korang semua k!

kat bahagian edit nih, aku tak paham kat $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] nak letak url apa..? aku tak paham ngan tutorial yg dia bagi.. aku guna localhost je..thanks!

phpMyAdmin is used to manage your database only. If you have other tool to manage your database, you do not need to install phpMyAdmin.

$cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri']

If the auto detect does not work(rare case), then you need to enter to absolute URL of your phpMyAdmin directory.

Example: http://localhost/phpmyadmin/

aku dah try taip dah url phpMyAdmin aku.. then ada error keluar ckp dia cannot connect ngan MySQL Server, dia ckp username n password aku salah.. how can? aku dah letak betul2 dah.. ada cara lain tak? kalau guna easyPhp, senang tak..? ada tutorial..?

How do you sure that the username and password for MySQL server is correct? Have you try to login MySQL server using the same username and password?

If you really want to learn, I do NOT recommend EasyPHP.
It is easy. It is shortcut. It is fast.
But not a good way for learning new stuffs.

ok...gini ceritanya..now, aku stop concerntrate kat localhost tu, aku terus try pakai hosting punya.. dah settle dah! thanks to Kid for teaching me everything, aku pakai polarhome, server debian/linux...etc semua dah settle dah! aku tau dah di mana silap nya...

next thing, sekarang supervisor aku taknak aku pakai hosting luar.. dia nak aku buat localhost jugak! dia ckp nak aku jadikan pc aku server, then everybody boleh access cms aku tu.. thats why dia encourage aku install segala apache, php tu semua! she said win xp boleh buat gitu, in this thing, aku betul2 zero knowledge! anybody can help me..? benda ni mesti berkaitan ngan Local Area Network, kan! anybody can give me some idea..? i really need your help! thanks!

Well, the Apache, PHP and MySQL do run on Microsoft Windows. No problem at all.

After your apache has been set up, your computer is already a web server. You can access ur local web server by using http://localhost , while other PC in the LAN can access your PC's web server using your PC IP address in the LAN (example: http://192.168.0.1 )
