MYSQL : restore big dump file
how to restore big sql dump file to web server if file is more than 10mb?

i used to restore a 100+mb vBulletin db using telnet

but not every host allow telnet access..
before this i did telnet..
then only.. ssh? ape tah..

aku pun tak tau camner nak dump dah.. heheh

pi yahoo cari :
telnet mysql dump

ssh is more secure than telnet.
telnet send everything, included your password in plain text!

use ssh whenever possible.

btw, don't have other better solution to restore big mysql database besides telnet/ssh?

not at the time..

most shared hosting eviroment disable ssh access.. this sometimes give a problem to users who trying to backup/restrore their dBs

tambah lagi..

kalau telnet takder / tutup / tak bagi oleh webserver..

so if you can use ssh.. go to the download.com or search via google etc.. find a software name : putty

yess.. the most glamouriousess (what tha') sware for this!

login then use the command line above..
