Migrate PHPNUKE to Mambo
Hi guys,
Any idea how to migrate phpnuke to mambo without losing member information? (I don't mind if lost news, or articles) I read about "PHPNuke 2 MOS converter"(http://www.mamboportal.com/content/view/1317/) from mamboportal.com but can't find the download. ![]() Thank you for any feedback. |

Why Mambo sucks?
It has won the LinuxUser & Developer Award 2004 for 'Best Linux or Open Source Software'. (link: http://www.mamboserver.com/The_News/...ce_wins_award/ ) btw, what gallery script is used by osx-e? |

Yes, esselbach or virtuanews. Because this two cms can use your current database from any forum that you have. So your members didn't have to register twice at your site. To integrate invisionboard or phpbb with mambo is really a headache, and their simple board forum is really simple (almost nothing).
Although this cms is not free but its really worth it. @ lcf - if you want virtuanews or storyteller full version, just pm, I will send you the copy |

write your own CMS
![]() I was a *nuke fan ...after learned PHP/MySQL a bit...I've wrote my own CMS..yeah..it was suck at first...well..if you keep evolving the code....you'll not give a peep to those open source CMS.. Why should I write my own CMS ? - fun - challenging - ultimate time waster - I know the a-z about it..easy upgrading.. - full control http://jkrputrajaya.gov.my -> my own CMS integrated with Gallery,FlashChat.Horde and r0kawa's forum. |
