problem: macam mana kita nak proses incoming email kat server guna php & masukkan terus dalam MySQL. contohnye bila orang hantar e-mail, script ni akan terus amik content email tersebut dan masukkan dalam database

dalam article ni, php must be run in CGI mode, is there any way to do this if we are running php as apache module? any suggestion?

Ayat di atas dah bagitau mengapa dia perlukan PHP running sebagai standalone program...sebabnya mail system perlukan php binary untuk trigger..

cara yang saya boleh buat:
-buat satu php file (no visible output ), include kat main page
-setiap masa bila ade orang buka via browser, script tu akan retrieve data dari inbox (using IMAP function)
- kemudian masukkan dalam database kalau data tu takde lagi dalam database.
-lepas tu delete content dalam inbox

tapi mungkin akan membebankan server
