I have installed Apache server using phpdev5. The server is ok when i view with localhost BUT when other pc (intranet) want to view my web using my IP, this message appear:

You don't have permission to access / on this server.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Apache/1.3.27 Server at localhost Port 80

How should i do to ensure myweb can be accessed by everyone?

Try to access the FULL URL path, instead of IP address only. Do you have index.html file in the web root?

since "Apache/1.3.27 Server at localhost Port 80 " footnote is displayed, means that the other PC has successfully accessed the web server, just that the page cannot be displayed.

Thank everyone. I have solved the problem.

Actually when U install apache using phpdev package it will block another user to view ur site for security reason. What u do just to change some setting.

1. Go to c:/phpdev/Apache/conf/
2. Select the httpd.conf file and open using word pad
3. You need to change "Allow from 127.0.0.1" to "Allow from all"
4. Restart ur apache

Hope can help those who exp the same prob
